Gain international internship experience this summer in the classic city of London with AIFS! You’ll earn up to 12 credits through a variety of courses and an internship placement through Richmond, the American International University in London.
Richmond offers 2 internship programs for the summer: a Regular Internship Program and a Sports Management Internship Program. The Regular Internship placements are available in a range of private companies and public organizations based on your major. The Sports Management Internship Program is for students with a specific interest in sports and/or management and is paired with a 3-credit course in Contemporary British Culture.
Cultural and social activities will include:
Guided walking tours
Rugby and cricket matches
Ballet and theater performances
River boat cruise along the Thames
Day trips to Stonehenge and Salisbury, Oxford, Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon and Brighton.
An optional, exciting 3-day trip to Paris, France, is also offered.

1. Attend a Global Cougs 101 session where you will learn more about the Global Learning opportunities available, choosing the right program, application procedures, the course approval process, financial aid and scholarships, transcript and credit information, and passport & visas. 2. Apply for your passport if you don't already have one. If you have a passport, make sure it is valid until 6 months after you will return from abroad. Click here to download an application.
3. Please note that you are required to complete 2 applications – the program provider's application found on their website, and the WSU application found on this website.

After you attend the Global Cougs 101, spend some time exploring different program options.
